Although my computer is still basically non-functional, we have found a way to retrieve all of my photos from it's electronic innards. All of them! Kind of makes one want to let out a hearty Sis-Boom-Bah, if ya know what I mean.
O yeah.
And in other wonderful news, the kittens are home again and back to their old purring, cuddling ways. Perhaps with a bit less swagger to their strut, so to speak, but nonetheless not a bit worse for the wear. What a joy to have two such fat, healthy, immunized and non-intact felines about the place!
Millen tells me they missed us very much.

Good for you!! I lost a bunch of my photos once :( Even now I print all of my photos so that doesn't happen ever again.
The cheerleader picture reminded me of my sister and I when we cheered for our school. We had those long sweaters AND long skirts. We went to private school so that was the norm. Now, my niece is a cheerleader at our high school and you should see the difference in the uniforms :)

I am so glad, on both counts! Please pet the kitties for my little girls (who think that they are sooo cute, and would loooove a kitty), or even better, just have Millen do it. I'm sure she won't mind too much!
Oh, modern cheerleaders...mercy, it was bad when I was in high school (class of '92). Honestly, it seems less "cheerleading", and more erotic dancing, team style...blech. I get the 'appeal' for the crowds. But the parents, where are they???

We've had computer problems too, when my husband accidentally wiped clean our hard drive twice!
I have back up. I have other sites on which I keep my articles (they are private, just for storage), and I also have a Xanga site on which I keep my pictures in "albums." So, although I lost my pictures on my computer, they were on Xanga, safe and sound.
I'm glad you were able to retrieve yours. Glad your cats are fine, too.
